PRR 4264, EP-22, c. 1967
Kreamer. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri, c. 1967. Shown here (F to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4264 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #4264 was constructed as number "5764" in November of 1952 and renumbered "4264" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. In this context, they're departing the Station with an eight-car passenger train bound for Pittsburgh and points East. (#8 of 9)
